First Musical commandment.
"Thou shall not kill the mood." And now gaps won't kill your musical
mood any longer. It took me 2 years to pull this off. OK,
I'm excited. Big-Time. Really. For the past 2 years I've been trying to get a
CD writer that could burn CD tracks without pauses between the songs. And it's
simply been one brick wall after another, till now.
You
Do Need Tracks. OK here's the story. With records you
can jump from track to track. And, with cassettes, you could fast forward to where
you want to listen. And with cassettes, if you take a cassette out it stays at
the point you were listening to till you put it in another cassette player and
push play.
But, CDs don't have fast forward
or rewind. If you take them out they always start at the beginning. So if you
don't put in tracks, you will always be doomed to start and the beginning and
listen to the whole CD, over and over again.
With tracks, you can jump from
place to place effortlessly and program a CD to play in any order you like. Of
course, the problem was that with tracks, you get 2 second pauses. Now you get
all the advantages of the CDs random access and programmability, but with absolutely
no pauses or breaks at all. |
This cost me many
thousands to develop but I think it's been worth it, and I think you will think
so too. Here's why: Burn mixed songs like from Beatles Albums with no breaks
between tracks just like they were meant to be. But of course, when you program
your CD player or hit skip forward or backwards, the tracks really are there. Burn Live
Albums where there's applause between songs and no breaks. Now it's just like
a live concert. Live
Concerts. If you've made tapes of live concerts and now you want to burn them
to CDs, you'll still have the tracks, but virtually no breaks at all where the
tracks are.
 |
| Just choose No Pause, No Pause with Text or normal Pause. All the work is
done by the burner. There's nothing special you need to do. |
|
Church Ministries
and Sermons. Till now if you didn't break the hour-long services into tracks,
you'd always have to listen to the CDs from the beginning. Now use DAK's automated
time tracker to break the service into say 10 tracks, then burn with no pause
and you'll jump from place to place as you desire, but have no breaks when you're
listening. Motivational
Tapes. Hear no breaks in an hour session. But be able to effortlessly jump
from place to place. Use the DAK Time Track Tracker to instantly put in up to
10 tracks that you'll never hear in your tape but that you'll use to jump forward
or back to hear a section again instantly and effortlessly. Meeting
Tapes. Now when you produce or copy tapes of meetings have all the tracks
you want so that you can jump from place to place but have uninterrupted train
of through when you're listening.
Spiritual, healing, background
music and more. Who wants breaks to break the mood? Hear no breaks but be
able to jump anywhere you like, whenever you like.
| Does it really
burn pause free? Yes, it's really amazing. I've taken a 3 minute song
and broken it into 10 tracks (10 seconds minimum for a track) and when I play
the CD there's at most the barest blip on some of my CD players and on others
if I close my eyes I don't hear anything at all. So your mileage may vary, but
in normal use where there aren't 10 breaks in a song, I really hear nothing at
all. Try it out. |
 |
| Just click Burn and you're all set. Just
like any other CD Writer, it will burn perfect audio CDs. But unlike most, it
will burn them for you with No Pauses to ruin your musical mood. |
|
So,
burn CDs with Pauses or with No Pause at all and still have full random access
to every track and full programmability for your CDs. Frankly the only difference
for you when you create a CD is to choose from the pull down menu if you want
to listen to your music with or without pauses from now on.
CD
TEXT TOO
It's new. And, it's really
neat. CD Text allows you to actually put the artist and track names right on the
CD. Then if you have a text ready CD player, then you'll see the track names in
your car, in your portable and in your stereo.
 |
| If your CD Players can read CD Text, this
is an awesome improvement in your listening pleasure |
|
Frankly, there aren't
that many CD players that can read CD Text yet, but as they come out your CDs
will display the Album, Artist and Song names. It's very neat. The DAK No Pause
Burner writes the text names in a file outside of the music play area and then
the Text ready players read it for you. It's one of the 1st major improvements
since CDs were invented back in the 80s. And now, you'll be ready to benefit from
it.
|
NO TRACK NAMES
ON CDs |
Important Note: People think that the
names of the tracks are actually on the CDs they buy. But, they are not. Only
the track numbers are there. The names weren't part of the CD format when it was
invented back in the 80s. In fact, 8 character DOS was about all you had.
But I see names when I load a CD in my computer? Yes, usually you do. But the
program playing your CD goes out to the Internet and accesses a free database
usually FREEdb that volunteers like you and me have added CD album info to. It
usually gets about 80% of the CDs right. But it just matches an ID number.
When you convert albums and cassettes from analog there's no database to query,
so we've added a naming function in the DAK Playlist manager you'll find in the
Toolbox for you to name your tracks. But remember if you're just burning CDs your
names won't be there. For the tracks you keep on your computer, I'd name them
so you can know what they are. And for your MP3 files, we name and add tags to
those too. NOW, DAK's CD Text Writer Puts Track Names
On CDs. DAK's new No Pause burner has the
new CD Text feature. It actually can write the tracks names outside the area that
the CD normally uses for playing music. It works perfectly so when you put your
CDs into a CD Text Aware Player, you'll see the CD name and track and artist names.
Check to see if your CD Players will display the text. Either they do or they
don't. There's nothing you need to do if they do and nothing you can do if they
don't. |
