track marker forward or backward if you want to cut out some talking or leave
it in.
In short, while you'll find that the Holy Grail separates your tracks 100% correctly
nearly 100% of the time, for those rare occasions where it misses a track, you
can add it instantly. Just Click track add to add a track and put it anywhere.
For those occasions where it picks up an extra track in a really noisy lead-in
(beginning of your record where the needle drops), you can delete it. Just choose
which track you want to delete and, it's gone.

Burn

Now you can burn CDs just like you buy
at the store, but better. They play in any CD player, at home, in your car or
in a portable. But why are they better? Glad you asked.
You can burn them with just the tracks you want, automatically. Here's how you
do it. After your tracks are named, just click the Save As WAV file. Then click
the CD Button and Choose Audio CD writer or MP3 CD writer. The DAK writer of your
choice will open and here's where it gets good.
The CD writer will open and automatically load with the songs you have in the
Holy Grail. And then, you can add more songs from any tracks you have on your
PC.
So unlike store-bought where you're stuck with the CDs playing the songs as the
engineer wanted it, sort of like LPs and tapes play serially, you can choose just
the songs you want and leave out the ones you don't and add songs from other albums,
other artists, in short, you can add any tracks you have on your PC.

And here's clearly my favorite part.
It's my favorite because while you can save 70% or more time separating the tracks
using the Holy Grail, DAK's old Track Tracker did a really great job of separating
the tracks even though it took 70% longer.
But adding individual MP3 tags to each of 12-14 separate individual songs per
album was a real pain. You had to open each song separately in the MP3 Tagger,
then add the song name, artist name, album name, genre and year to each and every
d*## track from a record or tape. Oh, and you had to add the album picture to
each track too.
But no more. Now the track names you already added will also become the
MP3 tag song names. And all you need to do is enter or paste the album name, artist
name and Genre and year if you like. Plus add the picture. JUST ONE TIME ONLY.
Then, the Holy Grail will use that data to auto-batch-name every single track
for you automatically. There's no need to type in each track's info individually.

There's very little for you to do, but the Holy Grail will auto-batch-tag, convert

Everything you really need to copy your
LPs, 45s, 78s and tapes in included in the system. But, if you don't want to move
your turntable or you don't have room by your PC for your turntable or ours, here's
a cable you can add so you don't have to move anything. |

Here's all you do. You
get a 50' cable with male RCA Plugs at each end. If you are coming from a tape
deck or a tape out on your preamp or receiver, just plug one end of this cable
into the output RCA jacks of your tape deck or receiver. Plug the other end into
the inputs of DAK PC Interface Mixer.
For a turntable, plug it directly into DAK's Interface mixer. You don't want to
extend the wires from the turntable or you'll get hum. Then plug the 50' cable
into the Mixer's output jacks. finally use the 2 RCA to RCA barrel connectors
to connect our special PC Computer cable to the 50' cable and plug the other end
directly into your PC's LINE IN jacks. That's it, you're all set. |

I don’t think you should buy a USB turntable. You decide if you agree. I
think you'll find it much easier to use my complete audiophile LP to CD &
MP3 system than an all in 1 USB turntable.
Oh, if you are tempted to buy a USB turntable, be sure to
ask whoever you buy it from, how they separate tracks, name songs and create MP3
tagged tracks with pictures. Oh, and do they auto-create folders with the Artist
Name and put individual Album Folders inside the artist folder with all your MP3
tracks? If not, ask why not. And, do they even provide CD Burners?
Oh, and don't miss: " Are they kidding with

You do need to separate your songs into individual tracks
or your CDs & MP3s won't be programmable. (Most people won't tell you that

Who are they trying to kid?. Back in the 60s or 70s we'd sit around testing
various cartridges to see which we liked best. We'd argue over wamth, clarity
and presence for hours. Nobody I knew would ever even consider using a ceramic
cartridge without an elliptical diamond stylus on their precious records. Heck,
the cartridge & stylus are 100% responsible for the sound you hear.
Wow, talk about bad sound. And does anyone seriously expect you to make
copies you'll listen to thousands of times that are created by a ceramic cartridge?
Digital is so good. You want the best sound you can get, and a magnetic cartridge
with an elliptical diamond stylus is the ONLY WAY TO GO.
So, don't put your records under a ceramic cartridge with a sapphire needle. Insist
on a magnetic cartridge with an Elliptical Diamond Stylus. You
can hear the difference big time. Many, many USB turntables use ceramic
cartridges and sapphire needles. Well, they are cheap. Wow, I haven't seen anything
like that in years, like back to the 70s. It wasn't good then and it's sure not
good now. And remember you'll be playing your songs 1000s of times. You want great
sound, not the sound you get from a ceramic cartridge. |
