Here's Your Newsletter Update From DAK Industries, Inc.
Dear Fellow DAKonian,

The equalizer is finally here. And, there's a lot to share with you.

But first, a few weeks ago, I was busy testing this equalizer when a friend dropped by.
He's not a real techie, but he does love his music.

Anyway he's about 60 and I was playing a 16,000hz test tone when he came in. He didn't hear a thing. So, I played a 14,000hz and finally at 12,500hz he finally heard the tone.

Well, the funny thing is that I had just written about how we all lose our hearing as we age, drat. (See today's tutorial.) And how an equalizer could dramatically help by boosting just the frequencies that we are losing.

But he didn't want an equalizer. He wanted my test disc so he could really spend some time and see what he could hear and how his car and portable sounded with just tones.

So, I made him a copy of my personal test disc and after lunch he took off, disc in hand. The other day he called and said, "Drew, I had my wife listen too, but I don't really know what each of the frequencies are."

OK to make a long story short, I duplicated all the tones on my disc and added a verbal ID to each tone the second time I put it on the disc.

What does all this mean? OK here's what I've done. I'm copying my own personal Test CD with all the tones, the sweep, pink noise and white noise, plus my narration on the 2nd set and including it with each equalizer as I describe below. Take a look.

Plus, if you don't need an equalizer today, and you don't already own a test disc, you can get a copy of mine for $5. It's at the bottom of the equalizer review.

So, can you hear 16,000hz? I can and I'm almost 57. But more important can you hear the effect of not hearing 16,000hz and many other frequencies in your music because of your source material, your system's speakers, or the hardness or softness of your room?

Why not check out my equalizer review and today's tutorial on Frequencies. It's called "Drew's Frequency Equalization Tutorial - The More You know, The Better It Sounds." Here's the Tutorial Link

Well, that was more than I planned. Check out today's quiz on Frequencies and please be sure to let me know what you think in today's poll.

Oh, and the most important thing, check out what the equalizer can do for your musical enjoyment. I guarantee that using this equalizer will dramatically improve everything you listen to from now on.

It's not a small or subtle difference. It's massive. There's absolutely no chance, none at all, that you'll be disappointed. Here's the Equalizer Review.

Thanks for reading.

Smart Sound Detonator Equalizer, Spectrum Analyzer and Drew's (my) Test Disc.

Make all your music dramatic and dynamic. REALLY.

It's really amazing how many people don't have equalizers now that CDs and MP3 have given us so much to work with.
Have you checked out the Smart Sound Detonator Equalizer Review?

Imagine infusing your music with the powerful rich drama that the deep bass of a string bass or contra bassoon adds. It's really amazing that all the sounds are actually in our music but we can't hear them because of:

1. Analogy source material
2. Poor recording
3. Room Acoustics
4. Imaging problems
5. Our own ears

6. More. . .

Now you can boost the trumpets, violins or flutes to sound just the way you want. Add mid-bass without giving your favorite vocalist a sore throat.

Now you can take control of and sculpt your music so it's vibrant, alive, and literally throbbing.

This isn't a small improvement. And if I sound excited, I am. Over 280,000 DAKonians have added equalizers to their systems in the past. I guarantee you'll be thrilled with the results.

What's really great is that by using the in/out defeat switch, you can instantly hear the exact improvements you've made. I'm not even slightly worried that I've raised your expectations too high. Once you engage this equalizer, you simply won't ever take it out of your system again.

Drew's Frequency Equalization Tutorial
The More You know, The Better It Sounds.

What's a fundamental? What's a harmonic? Why should you care? Why not visit the Frequency Tutorial?

OK, if you love music like I do, you've really have to know and understand the frequencies that you're listening to in order to know how you can improve what you hear.

Is it missing mid-bass? What is mid-bass anyway? What frequencies are covered by the human voice? A Male? A Female?

What if you want to hear more of a tuba? Less of a Violin? What if a CD is too strident for your liking?

Well, check out today's tutorial on frequencies and get a firm grasp of what frequencies are covered by what instruments so you can access what will improve your sound. Visit the Frequency Tutorial Here.

So here's a question. Is your sound really good now? How do you know? Have you tested it?

Do you know what frequencies you're hearing? Well, why not check out the tutorial and check out my Instrument Frequencies Chart to see.

The more you know, the better your can make your stereo and all your music sound from now on.
The Frequency Tutorial is worth seeing.
