Here's your gateway to TV
stations that show sports, movies, news and more that you've never seen before.
Here are radio stations that don't just play songs you know, but songs like the
ones you know but that you've never heard before, plus news you can't get off
the air and so much more.
Plus
you'll play games you know, games that may be familiar and games that you've never
seen before but are just too darn cute to pass up. There's no installation.
There's nothing to set up.
There are no fees to pay. Just plug in the simple USB dongle and you've got it
all for DAK's breakthrough price of just $24.95.
I
had no clue. Just when I thought I'd seen it all, out pops a new installation
free, no PC knowledge needed, take it with you anywhere, way to grab thousands
of hours of fascinating, news, sports, music, movies and games.
Here's a gateway to
free Internet TV, Internet Radio & Video Game wonders that frankly I never
knew existed. If you're like me, you probably spend a ton of time on the Internet
and listen to all the regular music choices.
| At home I have
500 cable TV channels (not much on) plus XM radio (great but limited). But I have
nothing remotely as interesting or as much fun as what I'm getting now |
I've
got Pandora, live356, XM and more. And I've checked out some Internet TV too.
But frankly I really haven't spent much time on Internet TV. And honestly, I didn't
know that there were thousands of really great free video games to play too. (They
are so much fun.)
Just think of the games.
I've found games I know like Pacman and Frogger, Games that are familiar like
a puzzle where you make the parts fit and games I've never seen like the shooting
game "Penguin Gallery". You're just one click away from thousands of
games you can play 24/7.
 |
| You'll have great fun with games you know. Games that are familiar and games
that are really, really cute. Choose from thousands of fun, full featured free
games. |
|
Anytime you're at your
computer, you can play a new game. There are so many to choose from it would take
you months to even try them all out. And they are neatly broken down into categories
from, Action to Driving, to Shooting to Board Games to Sports to Strategy and
more for you to make your selection process quick and easy.
In short, when TV's
no good at home, travel the world. You'll find a near limitless collection of
games, radio stations and TV stations with simply great content that you've never
seen before.
| Plugs into any PC's USB Jack.
There's nothing to install. Use it with your notebooks, desktops, at home or at
the office with all your computers. |
For music and TV, you
can find the choices you want listed in19 genres for TV and 72 genres for radio
or by country or even by city.
So, choose folk, soul
or Latin or choose Germany, Japan, China or Hungary. It's just that simple to
find just the music, sports, news or talk radio or TV that you want.
Oh, and when you do
find the exact music or TV station that you want, just click Favorites and you'll
have instant access from now on. Plus there's history. So you can go back to any
station you've listened to or watched with a single click. And to make it even
easier, you'll find popular and featured stations listed too.
Internet
Radio -
The Part Nobody Knows About.
Please Read This Music Part
- Oh the music. What I really love is that I'm getting music that's like the
music that I love but different. Let me explain. I love Irish pub music. And I've
got a really great collection. But, I only have the top artists that actually
release records over here in the US.
All the local authentic
Irish singers I've never heard before. Now I can hear the local talent. Now
I hear what the Irish hear. Not just what's imported to the US. Now I'm getting
so much more, it's amazing. And I get it all without having to hang out at my
local Irish Pub. Of course, that's fun too. Remember, I can record anything I
see or hear with a single click.
 |
| It's like when you travel to foreign cities and rent a car, but better.
You can find the local radio station that has just what you want to get a real
flavor for the city you are in. Now you can do it for thousands of cities across
the world. Oh, and you can also grab local stations in the US too. I was just
listening to Hawaiian music on a local Maui station that I really like when I'm
there. One paddle two paddle friends. Boy do I wish I was there now. And it's
the same for TV. I've found stations I really enjoyed when I tuned in Hong Kong,
Seoul and Tokyo. Now you really can get the real, authentic local flavor from
just about anywhere in the world. |
|
How about some Mexican Mariachi music? It's great. We used to go to a restaurant
named El Gato just to hear the music. Now I'm tuned into several Stations from
Mexico and it's by far the best I've ever heard. Plus there so much more country
Mexican music that I never even knew existed. Wow, I love the Internet
I also love Russian
gypsy folk music. If you've ever heard my favorite folk group the Limeliters,
Alex sings Gari, Gari - Burn Gypsy Burn. Oh, and he actually is of Russian extraction,
so he's great. But select some of the Russian, Ukrainian, and Hungarian stations
and you'll be astounded at the energy and passion of Russian folk music.
You're just a click
away from a ton of really exciting music and I do mean exciting. If you're a regular
reader, you know I was a cellist. When I was really young I played the Hungarian
Dance No 5 by Brahms. Of course, Brahms was German, but it's based on Hungarian
music (or so he thought. Interesting reading if you have time.)
It was my very favorite
'piece' to play. My mom transposed it for me from Violin sheet music so I could
play it. I still love it today.
 |
| It records the radio stations
you listen to and the TV you watch so you can save and share it. Just Click
Record. |
|
Oh, and speaking of
German, I love Polka music. It's simply so much fun. Everyone thinks I'm crazy,
but I really do love it. Anyway I found a great all Polka station in Germany,
where else. And here's another thing that's really neat about this no installation,
no fee, no PC knowledge USB wonder.
For just about every
radio and TV station, there's a link to their home page. This polka station didn't
seem to work when I clicked on it. But I went to their home page and started recording
all the polka music I wanted, hour after hour after hour. Um Pa Pa friends. It's
great.
So like I said, just
about every TV and radio station has a home page link. By clicking on the home
page icon, you can learn all about the area that station is in, what they do,
and often other links to follow to learn more. This is great if you want to travel
to the area or just increase your knowledge or leverage what you know to find
even more exciting music, news and sports information. Try it out. You'll be glad
you did.
Oh one more music thing.
I love Christmas carols. Don't you just love, "It's a Holly Jolly Christmas",
or "The Weather outside is frightful"? Well I found like 20 stations
that play Christmas carols all the time all year long. My XM just gives me one
station and that's just right at Christmas time. So, jump on. If you're like me
you'll love them all year long.
Oh, and for us Kaplans
Christmas stations are special because my two sons married girls whose parents
live outside of Los Angeles. And now we trade years as to who gets our kids and
grandkids for Christmas. So last year we had them for Thanksgiving. And I got
a tree and all the fixings and music too and we celebrated what we called 1st
Christmas with the Kids in November. Now I'll have all the Christmas music I want,
anytime of the year. Who knows, maybe we'll do Christmas this year in July too.
That would be fun.
And all this fun is coming
from an installation free, no fees ever, no PC knowledge needed plug in and enjoy
$24.95 USB dongle. Wow, look at all you can do.
Now
On to The World Of Internet TV
I really wanted the
music and games. I figured I've got about 500 TV stations on my cable now I don't
watch, why do I need more? Well, wait till you see what's out there.
The world is a big place
and whether you just want to watch sports you don't get at home, catch news broadcasts
to see what they think of the US or catch up on your old hometown news from a
city you used to live in, you'll find thousands of stations that can deliver News,
Sports, Movies, Music, Weather, Kids Channels, Educational, Shopping, and so much
more.
Oh, and one thing I
don't really like about Internet TV is often they make you download specific codecs
(video decoders) to watch their stations. I'm OK with that if I really like a
station. But just to see what it is once seems a bit much. With this installation
free, no fees ever USB dongle, the player is built in. (As is the recorder) so
it's easy to try lots of different things without loading up your computer with
a ton of downloaded codecs.
OK, so what can
you see? Well, here's a short, horribly incomplete, list.
 |
| Choose your poison. I don't think you'll see sports like ballroom dancing,
soccer or cricket here very often. Check out all the types of sports you'll see
on worldwide TV. |
|
How
about some sports? Would you believe ballroom dancing? Skateboarding? Windsurfing?
There are separate channels for each. Plus football games too. Ours and theirs
(soccer). I wish I understood cricket and squash because they're there too along
with tennis, golf and lots more. There are so many sports TV channels I may never
get any work done again.
News and Finance too.
I do have a few of the foreign news and finance channels on my cable system. But
I think there are 10 BBC channels that cover different things. And wow do you
get a different perspective when you listen to news from the UK, Ireland, Australia
and more. How about Russia, Latvia and the Ukraine? You do have to find the English
channels. But if you speak French, German or Spanish, you'll be amazed at all
you can watch. It's amazing.
And pick up the news
from the Middle East. Some is in English from Jordan, Syria, Iraq and Pakistan.
It can be a real eye-opener. Of course finance news from Japan, Singapore, the
UK and more can let you see what they are saying about our current financial situation.
Sometimes it's great. And, sometimes it's not.
Local game shows, movies,
nature shows and so much more from Japan, China, New Zealand, Australia and more.
Roo TV is great. I guess it's short for Kangaroo. We can't explore it all here,
but when you plug in this USB wonder, you'll see all the TV. You'll hear all the
music. And, you'll play all the games.
Let's look at some
pictures 1st. Then we'll cover what this thing really is and how it works (if
you're interested). As far as getting it and using it, just plug it in and start
enjoying. There's nothing you need to do at all.
Remember, most of these
are songs, games and TV stations you don't get at home. It’s a phenomenally
wider selection of entertainment than you can ever get from your local cable company.
And, it's all free. There are no fees and there's nothing you need to do but click
to watch, hear and play it all.
