This is no toy.
The new Think Speak Base Camp is totally automated. When you speak, a special
voice activated circuit automatically engages the transmitter so you are broadcasting.
When you stop speaking, it
will automatically return to 'Standby' to await a reply. It is virtually noise
free because it's on the 462 MHz band and it's FM modulated.
So, your
communications won't sound like a CB or an AM radio. And they won't be
limited to the 7 channel, 0.5 watt, up to 2-mile FRS Family Radio Range either.
With GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) you'll speak and hear with full power
and clarity for really long range. But you can still talk with any GMRS or FRS

Just touch Scan. It's a scanner too. It
automatically scans all 22 channels for you. Just set it on scan to

You can expect long battery
life from 4AA batteries. Or use the included rechargeable Ni-MH long use battery.
None of the cheap Ni-Cads here. And speaking of long battery life, how does forever
grab you? Just grab the crank and you'll charge your battery again to keep you

The system operates on the
460MHz band. It has 22 channels 7 which it shares with FRS and 15, which are pure
GMRS.
There's
