A Thousand Words
It's true. A picture Of the Musical Doorbell really can be worth a thousand words. And it's especially true with technology. As you look below, I hope that you'll see the parts, angles and buttons clearly so that you'll have a 100% clear understanding of just what this product can do for you. Products don't get reviewed unless I think they're good. I hope my pictures help you determine if you agree or not. . . Drew
Just put it on your wall instead of your old ding dong doorbell. Installation's a snap (see below). Then just choose which of the 48 songs you want to hear. Or, you can let the doorbell cycle through groups of the songs so you get a different song every time. It's up to you.

Or, you can choose one of the 100 songs from the included Songbook list. I've included a list of the songs below. It's great. Just punch in a song and you'll get that song from now on.

And here's where the real fun begins. Just look at the keyboard above. All you do is play up to 24 notes from any song you have ever heard. You can choose the 1st 24 notes (or less), the main theme or any part you really like. It's up to you. Just choose the note and note length and you'll be all set. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to do and how much fun you'll have.

Wait till you see the reactions from your friends. It's a real conversation starter. Everyone loves it and the only problem you'll have is from friends wanting to reprogram it to play their favorite songs. It's a really easy, really fun way to know people have arrived. Enjoy. . . Drew
This is what it looks like on the wall. It's handsome and elegant. You'll be proud to replace your old ding dong doorbell with this programmable musical doorbell wonder.

Installation is a snap. Disconnect your old doorbell. Then just put the first wire to the F or Front Door and the 2nd Wire to T or Transformer wire. That's it, you're done.

Option 1.) If you have a Back Door Button, then connect the 3rd wire to the B button and your new Musical Doorbell will play Beethoven's 5th if it's pressed.

Option 2.) If you want to run an extra speaker to another part of your home, connect it between the SP and G screws at the upper right. You don't need to do this for sound because with 4 settable volume levels, this doorbell really produces. But some people do like a speaker in a 2nd room.

Option 3.) Some homes have an illuminated doorbell button. This isn't a problem. You just add a small diode (included) at that button and you're all set. If you don't wish to do that or you want to protect your programmed songs from power failures, just put in the 9V backup battery (not included) and you're all set.

It's just this simple. Each of the songs above is listed in the Songbook list that comes in the manual. Each has the musical notes for you to punch in. Just pick your song, play it one the keyboard and the next time someone rings your doorbell, even you, that's the song that will be played. It's a great way to start a part, or just feel good because it's a song you love. Use these, play the 48 preprogrammed songs, or punch in your own. You'll love the new music you'll hear whenever your doorbell button is pushed from now on.

A Quick NOTE About My Pictures.
Some of the pictures aren't as sharp as I'd put in the print catalog. You see I have to cut back their files sizes or this page would never load (especially if you're on a dial up modem).
The technical side is that I'm shooting JPEGS at 80-100 percent quality and I cut them back to 50-60% and pretty much limit them to 600 pixels in width or less so that they'll fit on your monitor and load reasonably fast. In short, each picture is about 450,000 bytes when I shoot it and 20-40,000 bytes here on the page. A picture for the catalog is about 6,000,000 bytes.
I've created this page using separate tables for each picture so that you don't have to wait for everything to load in order to start looking. The picture captions will display first and then the pictures (usually starting at the top, but not always due to the way your computer interprets the web).
BUT HERE'S THE BOTTOM LINE. I don't feel you can really know about a product unless the pictures are big and clear enough for you to really see (almost touch). Then you'll know what you're getting. So in my print catalogs the pictures can be sharper, but on the web I can show you a lot more angles, sides and parts of each product. I hope this helps. If I ever forget to show you some part of the product that you want to see, Email me at DrewKaplan@DAK.com and I'll do my best to add it to the page quickly.
