Got
An iPod or MP3 Player? Or Need Fast Mass Conversions? Want To Apply Effects or
Make All Your Tracks The Same Volume?
 |
If you're just converting LPs and cassettes to CD,
you may never actually need the Batch Transformer. But this powerful super easy
to use program (don't let all the boxes intimidate you) can make quick work of
any group of files you want to convert or change. Let's explore what you can do
now with just a click, to 5 tracks, 10 tracks or 100s of tracks at once. That's
why it's called a batch transformer. It converts lots of tracks at once for you.
Arrow 1.) So you've made a bunch of Wav files. Just load them in the
Batch Transformer, choose MP3 and any bitrate you like and with one click they
will be converted to MP3s. Do 10 or 100, it's all automatic. Arrow
2.) If you're making MP3s for your iPod or other MP3 player or just to keep
on your computer, you'll want to have the MP3 tags like Artist, Album, year and
Genre tagged to all your MP3s. Now with DAK's Batch Transformer, just enter the
info once and it will add it to all the tracks from the record in seconds. Wow,
this is so cool. Arrow 3 & 3a.) OK if you're a power user,
you are going to love the batch effects applier. Just choose what effects you
want to apply. You can choose one, several or lots all at the same time. Then
in 3a, you can choose how much of each effect you want to apply to your files.
You can use a different amount for each type of effect if you like. Or just use
the default for any or all. It's super easy to do. Important Note
About The Volume Of Your Tracks. Normalize is one of the powerful effect functions
you can use on your tracks. What this does is make all the volume levels the same
for all the tracks you load. When you make CDs or MP3 collections of tracks from
several sources they might not be at the exact same volume level.
Just run them through the Normalizer and all the tracks you run through will be
set to about the same volume so you won't be having to turn them up or down. I
find that the Irish Rovers (one of my favorite groups) is almost always much louder
than the Limeliters (my favorite group) or Peter Paul and Mary or the Kingston
Trio. Now they're not. It's just that simple. Arrow 4.) Same as
for effects, you can batch filter a few files or hundreds all at the same time.
Arrow 5.) If you are a church or business, Append is for you. You
can add an intro or exit to hundreds of tracks at once. So if you want the same
music or introduction or the same ending for all your tracks, DAK's Batch converter
will add it to the files all at one time. It can also mix a background behind
the track as well. So you can add music, subliminal sounds or just about anything.
Arrow 6.) Rename will strip off whatever file names you have now and
let you add a prefix plus it will sequentially number the loaded tracks. This
is something you might want to use with pictures from a trip, or audio files or
really just about any type of file.
The Batch Transformer will save you hours of effort and perform mass tasks that
had to have been done manually in the past, or couldn't have been done at all.
