A Thousand Words
The Really Local, Local Weather $29.90 - It's true. A picture really can be worth a thousand words. And it's especially true with technology. As you look below, I hope that you'll see the parts, angles and buttons clearly so that you'll have a 100% clear understanding of just what this product can do for you. Products don't get reviewed unless I think they're good. I hope my pictures help you determine if you agree or not. . . Drew
See it all, all the time. See the time, the Inside temperature and the remote temperature at a glance. Touch the CH button and see the data from up to 4 remote sensors. It's just 5" tall, but it gives you all the information you need to prepare and control your environment. And the truth is, it's a ton of fun to own and use.

Put it in your plants. Mount it on a wall. Put it on a desk, table or window sill. It's up to you. About once a minute, the LED lights and this remote sensor transmits the local temperature back to your Temperature Station. It's water resistant, so you can put it just about anywhere. And it's so tough and solid that you'll move it and put it anywhere you want to monitor. Now you'll know for sure.

Set the alarms and let the ever vigilant remote temperature sensor protect your plants outside, motitor your attic temperature and even the temperature in your basement. You'll never miss that all important warning when the temperature alarm sounds off.
Do you know how hot it is in your attic. Is it worth installing insulation? How about an exhaust fan. And once you have one, when does it make sense to turn it on. Just set the alarm, and you'll never forget, or not know if it's too hot for your pets, too cold for your plants or if things are going to melt in your unattached garage or studio.

So many places to monitor. What's the temperature in the spare bedroom? The kid's room? The baby's room. You know we found that if it got too hot, our kids would wake up in the night. And of course if it gets too cold, we'll let's not even cross that bridge. Same for the bathroom to the right. Just put the small, handy, very movable remote wireless temperature sensor anywhere you want to monitor or find out what the temperature range really is.

What's the temperature on your patio or in your garage? Will the plants freeze, can you work in the garage or will car start this morning? You'll know all things temperature related once you place a sensor to find out.

How hot is it by your attic heater? How about in the heater room where your hot water heater and room heaters are? Do you know? Does it matter? Sure it does because if you know what the range of temperatures really is you can plan and insulate and be sure you're safe. Do you know hot hot it really gets in your car? Now just put a sensor in on a hot day and you'll know.

How hot is it by you pool? By your pool heater or how hot does it really get beside your air conditioner? You know that air conditioners put out a lot more heat than the amount of cool air they produce. You'll protect your plants, animals and know everything about the temperature in and around your home. And this system is so easily movable that you'll know it all from now on.

A Quick NOTE About My Pictures.
Some of the pictures aren't as sharp as I'd put in the print catalog. You see I have to cut back their files sizes or this page would never load (especially if you're on a dial up modem).
The technical side is that I'm shooting JPEGs at 80-100 percent quality and I cut them back to 50-60% and pretty much limit them to 600 pixels in width or less so that they'll fit on your monitor and load reasonably fast. In short, each picture is about 450,000 bytes when I shoot it and 20-40,000 bytes here on the page. A picture for the catalog is about 6,000,000 bytes.
I've created this page using separate tables for each picture so that you don't have to wait for everything to load in order to start looking. The picture captions will display first and then the pictures (usually starting at the top, but not always due to the way your computer interprets the web).
BUT HERE'S THE BOTTOM LINE. I don't feel you can really know about a product unless the pictures are big and clear enough for you to really see (almost touch). Then you'll know what you're getting. So in my print catalogs the pictures can be sharper, but on the web I can show you a lot more angles, sides and parts of each product. I hope this helps. If I ever forget to show you some part of the product that you want to see, Email me at DrewKaplan@DAK.com and I'll do my best to add it to the page quickly.
