Spend More?

Everybody loves a deal. And, I'm no exception. But that doesn't mean buying the most expensive product, even if it's on sale.
It means picking the product that's the best solution for you.
Part of what I do is to determine how sophisticated a product needs to be to be BEST for the task at hand.
So, don't look for high prices, look for high value. Choose products that satisfy your needs, not your vanities.
For example, black and white surveillance cameras might be cheaper and yet be better for surveillance in some cases than color.
Black and white cameras are often more sensitive in low light conditions. So, if that's your use, pretty and high price, may not be best.
It's a determination we must make when we evaluate each product. It's why we have to test and discuss each product in depth.
It's really the old right tool for the job metaphor.
I believe that the only good deal is when you get a great price on a well-designed, well-made product that provides the best solution for your needs.
