I've been working for years to improve
the process of copying our records and tapes to CDs and MP3s. And until now,

And I've built in so many extras. You might not use them, but I've added

You can zoom in and look at the tracks at any level you like. You can play any

I copied more than 50 more records and tapes as I developed this program and whenever
I found I wanted to see or do something, I'd go pick on the programmer again and
add it. This is really what you'd call a user developed program. And I promise
you, you'll love using it as much as I do.
About the only adjustment that I find that I make regularly is that I like to
adjust exactly where the 1st track starts and the last track ends. (All the others
are evenly split between the track before and the track after the silence)
So I just slide those two lines (the 1st and last track markers) in the visual
interface. Do I need to? No, but I really like my music exactly the way I like
it and I'm a stickler for detail.
You might want to see my full tutorial on using the Holy Grail, but frankly, it's
so intuitive, the only reason to watch the tutorial is that you're going to find
that the Grail does lots of things you never even would have thought of doing.
But, I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's explore the auto-track naming next.

Accurate. OK so how do you get your album's track names? And how do you zap them
all in at once? Easy as pie.
Did you know that you can find tracklists for most of your records on the net?
Do we live in great times or what? It's really easy. I show you several places,
but let's use FreeDB.org for today.

| Just go to FreeDB.org or one of
the other sources I give you in the tutorial. Copy the tracklist you want and
your tracks will be auto-batch-named instantly. It's so very easy. |

| Just highlight the track names you
want. I show you a trick to get them off the page, hit Control/C to put them in
memory and they're yours. |

Of course you can use Google and find
lots more. And in my tutorial I show you how easy that is too. But for now, here's
all you need. So go to FreeDB.org and enter the artist name. In my case, as usual
it's my friend's the Limeliters. I still think they are the world's greatest folk
group.
Anyway, after you enter your Artist's name, you'll get a list of their albums.
In this case, the album I copied is called Sing Out.
And I found it in a double album release with the Slightly Fabulous Limeliters.
So all you do is copy the track list with or without the track numbers and times.
I show you a trick of how to do it super easy.
After you have highlighted the track names you want on the page, simply hold down
your Control key and hit C. That's the Windows keyboard shortcut for copying whatever
is highlighted. In this case your track list.
And that's really all you need to do. The act of copying it, not only puts your
track-list in the Window's clipboard, it also transfers it to the Holy Grails
Paste Interface. You don't even need to use the traditional Control/V to paste.
I've eliminated another keystroke to make naming your tracks really, really easy.
OK now, just Click the Paste Titles Button and you'll see your list ready to name
all your tracks at one time with one click. You can make any changes you like,
but usually there's nothing you need to do.

be named when you click OK. Not just one at a time. No typing, that's so 20th
century. Just copy them, paste them, click OK and all your tracks are named fast

Oh, and for the purpose
of showing you how to do this, I'm only copying side one of the record. But don't
worry, the Holy Grail will ignore the rest of the titles for side 2. And when
you get to side 2, just delete the side 1 titles and hit the OK button and you'll
have side two of the album named as well.
Is this easy or what? And when you click OK, faster than you can blink, every
single song in the Holy Grail is renamed from its working name to the actual track
name. And now all your tracks are named.
You're ready to save your files as WAV Files and burn CDs or have the Holy Grail
convert them all to MP3, add the tags, pictures and put them in folders. It's
so incredibly easy and so very much faster than ever before and here you are doing
the undoable in a flash. |
Burn
Audio CDs Just Like From The Store.

Now you can burn CDs just like you buy
at the store, but better. They play in any CD player, at home, in your car or
in a portable. But why are they better? Glad you asked.
You can burn them with just the tracks you want, automatically. Here's how you
do it. After your tracks are named, just click the Save As WAV file. Then click
the CD Button and Choose Audio CD writer or MP3 CD writer. The DAK writer of your
choice will open and here's where it gets good.
The CD writer will open and automatically load with the songs you have in the
Holy Grail. And then, you can add more songs from any tracks you have on your
PC.
So unlike store-bought where you're stuck with the CDs playing the songs as the
engineer wanted it, sort of like LPs and tapes play serially, you can choose just

And here's clearly my favorite part.
It's my favorite because while you can save 70% or more time separating the tracks
using the Holy Grail, DAK's old Track Tracker did a really great job of separating
the tracks even though it took 70% longer.
But adding individual MP3 tags to each of 12-14 separate individual songs per
album was a real pain. You had to open each song separately in the MP3 Tagger,
then add the song name, artist name, album name, genre and year to each and every
d*## track from a record or tape. Oh, and you had to add the album picture to
each track too.
But no more. Now the track names you already added will also become the
MP3 tag song names. And all you need to do is enter or paste the album name, artist
name and Genre and year if you like. Plus add the picture. JUST ONE TIME ONLY.
Then, the Holy Grail will use that data to auto-batch-name every single track
for you automatically. There's no need to type in each track's info individually.

There's very little for you to do, but the Holy Grail will auto-batch-tag, convert
and even add pictures to all your tracks at once. There's no need for you to tag
each file separately. And with most records and tapes containing 12-14 tracks,
that's unparalleled time saver for you and for me. Now we can even copy the albums
that we just like because there's not nearly the same commitment of time that

And that's not
all. You can choose the Bitrate
for the MP3 sound quality as well. Normally you'll use 128bit (default), but you
can use 180bit or even 320 bit if you like. And whatever you choose, the Holy
Grail will remember and use it from now on, unless you choose to change it again.
So you completely control both the sound and looks of your MP3 files.
But that's still not all. Let's say that like me, you copied side one of
your album or tape. The Grail will remember the tag info and when you load side
2 and add the tracks names, and then choose the Save As MP3, all the tag info
you used for side one will be waiting for you so there's nothing you need to enter
again.

| Just go to Google Images (it's a
choice on the Google screen). Type in the album name and artist. And if you're
like me you'll get literally dozens and even hundreds of choices. Just right click
on any image you like, choose save as and you've got your album picture. Now doesn't
that beat setting up and photographing your albums? |

Brief Side Trip.
Oh, ever wonder how do you
get the album picture? You sure don't have to set up your digital camera and take
it. Not any longer. It's no problem.
It's just a trip to trusty old Google. Simply go to Google. Choose Images from
their menu. Enter the Album name and artist name and viola, look at all the choices
you have. All you need to do is right click, I tend to rename the picture using
the album name. Then save it to my desktop. Always choose a .JPEG. While .GIF
and .PNG both work fine, I find that .JPEG works everywhere while the others may
not work in XP. Just a little tip that I learned along the way.
Anyway in the tutorial, I show you how to save the album picture to your desktop.
Then just click Add to add it to your tracks.
But that's still not all. Hold on for automatic know where your tracks
are and make them easy to accesses organization. Most of us use iTunes to store
and load our tracks on our PCs. If you don't, check it out. It's free and absolutely
fabulous.
OK, so iTunes uses a really good, useful hierarchy to store tracks. It does it
by creating a folder for each artist. Then it creates another folder inside of
the artist's folder for each album.
Wow, what a great way to keep track of your songs. I wish I'd thought of it. Anyway,
I've programmed the Holy Grail to emulate that file structure so you can instantly
put your songs in iTunes if you use it and keep your songs in the same file hierarchy
even if you don't use iTunes.

First the Holy Grail converts your
file into tagged MP3 files you can use and play anywhere. Then it creates a folder
with the artist's name and then puts a folder with the album name inside of the
artist named folder.
Finally, it drops all the MP3 converted files in the album folder. You'll never
have to search for your tracks again. And, it's the actual hierarchy for direct
inclusion in iTunes. |

OK here's what the Holy Grail does.
It converts your tracks to MP3s. It inserts all the MP3 tags, including the album
picture. Then, if you say yes, it will create a folder for the artist, and then
it will create a folder for the album.
It will put the album folder inside of the artist folder 100% automatically. There's
nothing you need to do, except say yes. Then it moves all the MP3 tracks from
the main folder into the album folder automatically. Is this way cool, or what?
And that's still not all. Let's say, like me that you've just copied side
one of a Limeliters Album called Sing Out. You'll find that the Sing Out Folder
is inside of the Limeliter folder just as I told you.
Now if you copy side 2 of the Sing Out Album, you'll find no new folders created,
but you will find all the tracks from side 2, inside of the Sing Out Folder as
if they were copied at the same time as side 1. The Holy Grail is very, very smart.
But, that's still not all. Let's say, like me that you're a big fan and
that you copy 5 more Limeliters albums. Figured it out yet? Glad you did. Each
of those 5 albums will be found in folders inside of the Limeliters' folder neatly
arranged so you will always be able to find and use your tracks fast and easy.
