In the past I never much liked silence
sensing technology. But, the Holy Grail takes silence sensing to a whole new level.
Not only does it automatically separate all the tracks at once, not just one
at a time, but you're not locked out.
You can exclude tracks you don't like, you can adjust tracks just by sliding a
track marker forward or backward if you want to cut out some talking or leave
it in.
In short, while you'll find that the Holy Grail separates your tracks 100% correctly
nearly 100% of the time, for those rare occasions where it misses a track, you
can add it instantly. Just Click track add to add a track and put it anywhere.
For those occasions where it picks up an extra track in a really noisy lead-in
(beginning of your record where the needle drops), you can delete it. Just choose
which track you want to delete and, it's gone.
And whatever you do, the Holy Grail will automatically and instantly recalculate
all the track beginning and end times so there's nothing you need to do or reload
or anything like that.
You can zoom in to view the tracks, you can play just the beginning of each track,
and you can play any selected part. It's all up to you. But, whatever you do will

of showing you how to do this, I'm only copying side one of the record. But don't
worry, the Holy Grail will ignore the rest of the titles for side 2. And when
you get to side 2, just delete the side 1 titles and hit the OK button and you'll
have side two of the album named as well.

single song in the Holy Grail is renamed from its working name to the actual track
name. And now all your tracks are named.
You're ready to save your files as WAV Files and burn CDs or have the Holy Grail

Burn

Now you can burn CDs just like you buy
at the store, but better. They play in any CD player, at home, in your car or
in a portable. But why are they better? Glad you asked.
You can burn them with just the tracks you want, automatically. Here's how you
do it. After your tracks are named, just click the Save As WAV file. Then click
the CD Button and Choose Audio CD writer or MP3 CD writer. The DAK writer of your
choice will open and here's where it gets good.
The CD writer will open and automatically load with the songs you have in the
Holy Grail. And then, you can add more songs from any tracks you have on your
PC.
So unlike store-bought where you're stuck with the CDs playing the songs as the
engineer wanted it, sort of like LPs and tapes play serially, you can choose just
the songs you want and leave out the ones you don't and add songs from other albums,
other artists, in short, you can add any tracks you have on your PC.

a pause.

love controlling your music. And it's oh so easy to do. Oh and one more thing.

And here's clearly my favorite part.
It's my favorite because while you can save 70% or more time separating the tracks
using the Holy Grail, DAK's old Track Tracker did a really great job of separating
the tracks even though it took 70% longer.
And the first tape I copied and converted to fully tagged MP3s with album
pictures was a Kenny Rogers Greatest Hits cassette. The results were awesome and
they will be for you too. You'll love looking at the album picture as you play
your digital files in your iPhone, iPod or other MP3 player, Windows Media Player
or iTunes. You're going to love digital, just like I do.
Anyway, adding individual MP3 tags to each of 12-14 separate individual songs
per album was a real pain. You had to open each song separately in the MP3 Tagger,
then add the song name, artist name, album name, genre and year to each and every
d*## track from a record or tape. Oh, and you had to add the album picture to
each track too.
But no more. Now the track names you already added will also become the
MP3 tag song names. And all you need to do is enter or paste the album name, artist
name and Genre and year if you like. Plus add the picture. JUST ONE TIME ONLY.
Then, the Holy Grail will use that data to auto-batch-name every single track
for you automatically. There's no need to type in each track's info individually.

There's very little for you to do, but the Holy Grail will auto-batch-tag, convert
and even add pictures to all your tracks at once. There's no need for you to tag
each file separately. And with most records and tapes containing 12-14 tracks,
that's unparalleled time saver for you and for me. Now we can even copy the albums
that we just like because there's not nearly the same commitment of time that

And that's not
all. You can choose the Bitrate
for the MP3 sound quality as well. Normally you'll use 128bit (default), but you
can use 180bit or even 320 bit if you like. And whatever you choose, the Holy
Grail will remember and use it from now on, unless you choose to change it again.
So you completely control both the sound and looks of your MP3 files.
But that's still not all. Let's say that like me, you copied side one of
your album or tape. The Grail will remember the tag info and when you load side
2 and add the tracks names, and then choose the Save As MP3, all the tag info
you used for side one will be waiting for you so there's nothing you need to enter

Everything you really need to copy your
LPs, 45s, 78s and tapes in included in the system. But, if you don't want to move
your turntable or you don't have room by your PC for your turntable or ours, here's
a cable you can add so you don't have to move anything. |
|
Here's all you do. You
get a 50' cable with male RCA Plugs at each end. If you are coming from a tape
deck or a tape out on your preamp or receiver, just plug one end of this cable
into the output RCA jacks of your tape deck or receiver. Plug the other end into
the inputs of DAK PC Interface Mixer.
For a turntable, plug it directly into DAK's Interface mixer. You don't want to
extend the wires from the turntable or you'll get hum. Then plug the 50' cable
into the Mixer's output jacks. finally use the 2 RCA to RCA barrel connectors
to connect our special PC Computer cable to the 50' cable and plug the other end
directly into your PC's LINE IN jacks. That's it, you're all set. |
